Xoom 3.10.2 has been released

We are proud to announce the release of Xoom 3.10.2. This is a patch release with a number of improvements included.

PowerShell capabilities of Xoom are now exposed in a more convenient way:

  • A shortcut for PowerShell ISE with Xoom capabilities has been added to the start menu. Due to the limits of ISE, the user needs to run the script that automatically opens, which then initialises Xoom bindings, places the user in the Xoom folder, closes the script file and opens a new file.
  • The initialisation of PowerShell console places the user in the Xoom folder.

XPaths to bad references in Bad References report have been made more helpful by including conditions such as Name elements or attributes. This often makes it possible to understand the location of the bad reference without leaving the report.

ClickSchedule web client user settings are now interpreted in exactly the same way as templates (they were previously uninterpreted). The individual user settings (as opposed to templates) are still excluded by default as in most cases they are not desirable, but the parameter Product.W6.Objects.IncludeUserDefinedUserSettings can be used to change this behaviour.

Labels, tooltips and keyboard shortcuts in Settings Migration Tool, Xoom Console and Xoom Explorer have been modified in order to make them more intuitive and consistent with each other and with the language in the documentation.

On the Retrieval tab of Settings Migration Tool, the sorting of categories by name within each node of the tree view is now more consistent.

On the Deployment tab of Settings Migration Tool, the collections with items containing bad references are now coloured red, which makes their colour consistent with the colour of items with bad references.

[FIXED] The items with keys that happen to be references to items with multiple keys some of which are references themselves aren’t identified correctly.
